ARI-Armaturen is a high quality German manufacturer of control, isolation, and safety valves as well as industrial steam and condensate recovery products.  We are a family-run business who is committed to preserving our autonomy and independence with an international sales network and representation in over 60 countries worldwide.  The North American branch of ARI-Armaturen was established in 2003 to provide our customers with localized inventory of our wide-range of products which is supported with comprehensive customer service, sales, manufacturing, and technical support.

Your job duties

  • Develop, manage and coordinate strategic media and public relations programs in collaboration with team members;
  • Create social media content in collaboration with external agency, publish content based on a schedule, and monitor results through analytics;
  • Monitor and update business information sites and product database sites;
  • Evaluate ROI through analytics;
  • Plan and coordinate all meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows; 
  • Coordinate press, customer, and sales events; and other events as assigned;
  • Coordinate employee-relations activities and programmes that promote positive labor relations;
  • Keep up with new products and services; including workshops or marketing-specific tradeshows;
  • Monitor and maintain marketing collateral associated with events and external communications;
  • Responsible for survey programs and the associated results analysis;
  • Generate and release regular press releases in partnership with external agency.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • At least 4 years experience in similar role;
  • Good knowledge of event management;
  • Excellent social and organisational skills; 
  • Valve knowledge is a plus, but technical know how is important to be able to learn and communicate about valve products;
  • Highly motivated and self organised person;
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • In depths knowledge of video chat platforms, including MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and others;
  • Comprehension of some of the basics associated with InDesign and Adobe Acrobat DC;
  • Motivation to proactively learn our product portfolio.
